Millions of people flock to Munich for this month long festival of one-litre beer steins, German outfits, marching bands, pretzels and blonde germans who say “Ya!”

The festival centre is held on a massive ground filled with rides, and ‘beer halls’ and millions of beer enthusiasts.

The atmosphere is amazing – there are thousands of people drinking beer, dancing on tables and singing German drinking songs while the marching bands play!

 Cheers! Or, in German, “PROST!” But don’t smash your glass against theirs too hard, or you’ll get covered in beer and glass!
