For our half-term break, I went to Paris for a week with two gappies from Ardvreck, Kat and Joe. It was awesome!
We arrived in the afternoon, and caught the metro (underground train) to where ‘Google Maps’ told us where our hotel was. Good old Google. So we arrived at our hotel. Except there was no hotel. Just a french cafe. Damn you Google! By about 11pm, we did actually end up at our hotel. Except, ‘apparently’ we had to check in before 7pm, so they cancelled our booking and had no room for us. Things were looking down. We were contemplating sleeping on the streets until ‘magically’ the hotel guy ‘discovered’ a vacant room for a much higher price. Oh well, we we were desperate!
Next day, we started off the visiting the Notre Dame Cathedral.
Having a french lunch in a park behind the cathedral.
We pretty much just walked aroudn the city for the first day, and we found this random building. We’re sure it’s important, but just don’t know why.
